Content Policy
Last updated: July 28, 2026 · Interim policy — will be expanded as our formal terms are updated.
These rules apply to everything published on the Explore marketplace — character cards, their artwork, and their text. Every submission is reviewed by a human before it appears publicly. The short version: publish characters you created or have the right to publish, never real people, never minors.
Never allowed
- Real people. No characters portraying any real person — celebrities, streamers, vtubers and their personas, cosplayers, influencers, or private individuals. This includes lookalikes, "parody" versions, and AI recreations of a real person's face, voice, or persona. A vtuber's character is a real person's identity and is treated as one.
- Minors. No characters depicted or presented as minors, and no sexualization of minors in any form, drawn or otherwise. Zero tolerance; reported where the law requires it.
- Hate and harassment. No content attacking real-world people or groups, and no characters built to demean them.
- Stolen content. No cards, artwork, or writing lifted from other creators or platforms without permission. Public characters must be your own work, and the art you upload must be art you have the right to use.
- Illegal content or content promoting real-world harm.
Intellectual property
You must own, or otherwise have the right to publish, everything you submit. Characters inspired by existing fictional works are submitted under your own responsibility as the uploader. If you are a rights holder and believe published content infringes your work, email support@noko.chat with "Takedown" in the subject and a link or character name — we remove infringing content expeditiously, and accounts that repeatedly infringe are terminated.
Mature content
Explore listings — a card's artwork, name, tagline, and body text — must be presentable to a general audience. Explicitly sexual or graphically violent card content is rejected in review.
Moderation and reporting
- Every submission is human-reviewed before it becomes visible.
- Every published card carries an in-app Report action; reports are reviewed and can lead to removal.
- Violations are handled with removal first, then account suspension or termination for repeated or severe cases.
